The California Sunset Drive-in is an abandoned drive-in movie theater just southwest of Primm, very close to the NCR tent where Lieutenant Hayes is posted. The big blank screen still stands at the front with a small playground underneath it, and a few old cars and trash cans are scattered across the lot. A dirt path heading north-northwest from here leads up to the Canyon Wreckage.
Bark scorpions and radscorpions roam the lot, with the occasional feral ghoul, so low-level characters should bring a decent weapon and some stimpaks. The main loot is two Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps on the ground opposite the screen, next to the decaying projector building. They look like regular caps and can sink into the ground when you try to grab them, so look closely. It makes a quick detour while you are dealing with Primm.
How to get there
From the NCR camp at the southwest edge of Primm, walk a short distance southwest to the big blank screen.

Tips
- If the star caps sink into the ground, try picking them up from a different angle.
- Radscorpions hit hard early on, so fight from range and fall back toward the NCR camp if needed.
