Crescent Canyon West is the western mouth of a curved gully that runs beneath a collapsed bridge, a little south of Morning Star Cavern. Together with Crescent Canyon East it forms a natural barrier along the southern edge of the map. The canyon floor is strewn with radioactive waste barrels, and radiation climbs to about 4 rads per second, so take Rad-X or wear protective gear before you walk the length of it.
Golden geckos are the main threat, and they are tougher than the common kind. Push through and you will find a marked case holding an Advanced Radiation Suit about halfway along, near an overturned truck, a solid upgrade over the standard radiation suit. A Hollowed-Out Rock sits at the bottom of the hill on the left at the west end, next to a rusting vehicle. Walk the full canyon and you come out at Crescent Canyon East near the Mojave Drive-in.
How to get there
From Morning Star Cavern, head a short way south to the gully below the broken bridge.

Tips
- Take Rad-X before entering and keep an eye on your rad meter.
- Put on the Advanced Radiation Suit as soon as you find it.
- Fight golden geckos at range where you can.
