Part of Novac
The Dino Dee-lite Motel is the reason Novac exists. The pre-War motel on Highway 95 sat empty for years until settlers moved in, and the town took its name from the broken No Vacancy sign by the entrance. Jeannie May Crawford owns it and runs the front desk, which also holds a Mojave Express dropbox. Dinky the T-Rex stands in front of the complex across a small courtyard.
Jeannie May rents out a room for 100 caps, or gives it free once Novac thinks well of you, and it becomes one of the best early homes in the Mojave. Behind the gate are rooms for Daisy Whitman, Bruce Isaac, Manny Vargas and Craig Boone, plus two vacant rooms. Boone's room on the ground floor is off limits, and he will warn you to leave if you walk in during the day.
The front desk also matters for One for My Baby. Jeannie May keeps a floor safe behind the counter, and the key she carries opens it to reveal the bill of sale that proves who sold Boone's wife Carla to the Legion. If Jeannie May dies, Cliff Briscoe at the gift shop hands over the room key instead.
How to get there
Follow Highway 95 south from the HELIOS One turnoff until the giant dinosaur appears; the motel is the building behind it.
