Part of Hoover Dam
The visitor center is the front door to Hoover Dam. The fast travel marker drops you just outside it, near a stage and viewing area, a large anti-aircraft cannon and the dam's dedication monument across the road. An NCR ranger usually stands by the entrance and grumbles about Colonel Moore.
Inside, the front desk holds a terminal and the Hoover Dam snow globe. An elevator beside the desk and another on the second floor run down to the Hoover Dam offices, and the building also connects to power plant 01. Three NCR heavy troopers in salvaged power armor stand guard. A ladder at the back climbs to the roof, which has its own door into the second floor.
How to get there
Fast travel to Hoover Dam, or follow the road east from Boulder City; the visitor center is right where the road meets the dam.
