Next to Northern Passage
South of the Northern Passage, a rusted-out scrap metal shack serves as a small Jackal hideout. Two Jackals armed with lead pipes usually stay inside, and they return three in-game days after you clear them out. The shack has no map marker; the Northern Passage is the closest fast travel point.
The shack has a few beds, chems and drinks such as vodka, with a brahmin steak cooking over the campfire. A boarded-up house stands next to it, and harvest-ready plants grow around both buildings. The New Vegas home, a free house you can use as a base, is close by.
How to get there
From the Northern Passage, walk south until you see the scrap metal shack.

Tips
- The Jackals respawn after three days, so the area will not stay clear for long.
