North Vegas Square is a run-down district just northwest of Freeside's North Gate, closed in by a makeshift wall of salvaged metal sheets, neon signs and junk along a single road. Most buildings are burned-out shells with beds laid among the rubble, and the only intact one is the Gray, an apartment building. The residents value their independence, dislike the NCR and trade goods for protection from wildlife and the Fiends that come up through the sewers.
Crandon is the closest thing to a leader, and with Jules he patrols the streets and the north sewers below. His quest, Someone to Watch Over Me, has you deal first with Squatter Bill and his group, whose deaths cost NCR reputation, and then with Greasy Johnny's gang in the north sewers, using violence, bribes or threats. Jules has an unmarked quest, Meeting an Equal: pass 50 Guns and 60 Survival checks with him to earn .44 Magnum hand load schematics.
How to get there
