Powder Ganger Camp East is another of the convict outposts ringing the NCR Correctional Facility, built into the side of a cliff southeast of the prison with wooden barricades for cover. Three escaped prisoners man it and use it to watch the approaches to their base and pick off anyone travelling alone.
The gangers carry random low level weapons, but the real hazard is the ground around the camp: powder charges are scattered everywhere, turning the approach into a minefield. Watch your step, and shoot the charges or the gangers from range rather than charging in. A hollowed-out rock just south-southwest of the camp holds some extra loot.
There is no quest marker for the camp but it is a natural part of the Powder Ganger storyline around Primm and the prison. Its fast travel point is handy when moving between the Correctional Facility and the Primm Pass area. Like the other Powder Ganger camps, attacking it lowers your standing with the gang, so decide which side you are on first.
How to get there
From the NCR Correctional Facility head southeast; the camp is built into a cliff face behind wooden barricades.
Tips
- Watch for powder charges scattered around the camp; they work like a minefield.
- Pick the gangers off from range before you walk in.
