Ranger Esteban Morales was killed by Fiends shortly before the Courier woke up in Goodsprings, and the NCR never recovered his body. His wife, Private Christina Morales, waits in the Camp McCarran concourse, and his best friend Jackson died trying to bring him back. The site, its Fiends and its marker only appear once you talk to her and start A Final Plan for Esteban.
Slightly northeast of REPCONN headquarters, three buildings form a U around an open yard, with the corpse lying by a flagpole in the middle. The Fiends use it as bait, with snipers watching every side. There are three ways in: from the REPCONN side, from the train tracks, where a trip mine and a rigged shotgun wait, or from the far side, which is full of bear traps. Ranger Jackson's body lies here too.
When the Fiends are dead, carry Morales northwest, not just north, along the road past the tracks to the two NCR troopers at the checkpoint; you cannot take him past their barricade. Then return to Christina for Karma or 50 caps, plus discounted services from Dr. Kemp.

Fast travel to REPCONN Headquarters and walk a short way northeast to the U of buildings.
