REPCONN Headquarters is the corporate home of the rocket company whose test site sits far to the south near Novac. The building is a big three floor office complex southwest of the Grub n' Gulp Rest Stop and southeast of Camp McCarran, and it is one of the larger interiors in the central Mojave. A tour guide robot in the lobby gives free tours between 10 AM and 5 PM, and terminals throughout tell how RobCo took the company over before the war.

The place is guarded by its own security system: facial recognition scanners, maintenance robots and heavily armed sentry bots that turn hostile if you lack clearance, so energy or armor piercing weapons make the job easier. The big prize is the Q-35 matter modulator, a unique plasma rifle in a storage room on the main floor behind a Very Hard locked door and terminal. You can also drop in through a hole from a locked room on the second floor, or open the door with the third floor security card from Piers Isley's briefcase. Beyond that, the offices are full of energy cells, scrap electronics and other useful salvage.

REPCONN Headquarters is tied to the Brotherhood of Steel quest Still in the Dark: the missing patrol lies dead on the third floor with their T-51b power armor and laser rifles. Energy weapon users should make it a priority, and anyone with a Science or Lockpick build will get the most out of the locked doors and terminals. Give yourself time, because the building is large, the layout repeats itself and it is easy to get lost in.

How to get there

From the Grub n' Gulp Rest Stop head southwest across the flats; the big REPCONN office complex is hard to miss.

Tips

  • Bring energy or armor piercing ammo for the sentry bots.
  • Lockpick 100 opens the Q-35 room directly; otherwise drop in from the second floor or use the third floor security card.
  • Visit between 10 AM and 5 PM and take the free robot tour; it leads you to Jenny Millet's security keycard without lockpicking.
