Ranger Station Echo

Ranger Station Echo is the southernmost of the NCR Ranger stations, set on a clifftop northeast of Camp Searchlight, between the Coyote Mines to the southwest and the Cliffside Prospector Camp to the northeast. A sandbag overlook, a shack, a tent and a tall radio tower make up the post, and the station keeps watch on Legion traffic in and out of Cottonwood Cove. Ranger Erasmus is in command, and apart from him and Comm Officer Green every ranger here is a ghoul, the only station like it.

The station is one of the stops in Return to Sender, Sergeant Reyes's quest to deliver new radio codes to every ranger outpost, and Comm Officer Green takes the codes here. It is also a useful safe spot before pushing into Cottonwood Cove. Rest up, then head south along the ridge toward the Sniper's Nest. Watch out for legionary assassins who sometimes appear at the bottom of the hill, and for radioactive craters just south of the camp.
