Part of Sierra Madre Resort & Casino
The Sierra Madre vault is really three basement areas plus the vault room, reached by the secret elevator in Vera's suite during Heist of the Centuries. The first two areas are catwalks lined with speakers that you shoot, outrun or switch off at terminals. The third adds three security holograms patrolling enclosures and catwalks, Cloud on the lower level, and the vault turret terminal password at the end of the lower catwalk.
A terminal in the last corridor drops the turrets and the blue force fields around the vault, but using it is a point of no return: the elevator locks until Father Elijah comes down. In front of the vault lies a hostile holotape from Sinclair to Vera, and on a pipe over the Cloud-filled pit rests his skeleton, labeled the Founder's Remains, with Nikola Tesla and You in a duffle bag beside it. Four turrets guard the room.
Inside are 37 gold bars weighing 35 pounds each, 17 bundles of pre-War money, a first aid box full of chems and a gun cabinet with Sierra Madre armor and up to 2000 .357 Magnum rounds. The terminal at the back holds Sinclair's messages to Vera. Opening Sinclair's Personal Accounts locks the vault and ends the game with the Courier's death; skip it, and a screen opens where Elijah speaks to you.
How to get there
Play Vera's voice to the elevator in her suite in the Executive suites to ride down to the vault.
