Snyder Prospector Camp is a small abandoned campsite east-southeast of the Wrecked Highwayman, in the hills between Highway 95 and the Searchlight mines. It is nothing more than a small shack with a bed and a campfire outside, left behind by a prospector who worked the surrounding hills. There is no quest tied to it and no settlement nearby, so it mostly serves as a waypoint while exploring the southeastern wilderness between Novac and Camp Searchlight.
Check the shack for a Sunset Sarsaparilla star cap on the books by the bed, and use the campfire for Survival recipes if you have been collecting ingredients. A large herd of bighorners grazes nearby along with some bloatflies, so expect a fight if you anger them. The camp is a reasonable place to sleep if you are between Novac and Searchlight and need to heal up.
How to get there
From the Wrecked Highwayman on Highway 95 head southeast into the hills toward the Searchlight mines.
Tips
- Use the campfire for Survival recipes and the bed to heal up between Novac and Searchlight.
- A big bighorner herd lives nearby; deal with them from range before resting.
