The Zion Valley Welcome Booth is where pre-War visitors were greeted on their way into the park, in the southeast of the canyon close to the Eastern Virgin. It is a modest site: a small booth, an outdoor toilet and a few picnic tables and benches. Like many old buildings in Zion it is marked with chalk-white handprints, the sign that the place dates from before the Great War and is taboo to the local tribes.
Inside the booth is a Park Ranger Hat along with a little miscellaneous loot. There is not much more to it, but the booth sits on the walk between the Crashed Scout Bus, Ranger Substation Peregrine and the Dead Horses camp, so it is an easy detour. Fallen Rock Cave, farther east beside the Dead Horses camp, holds Randall Clark's earliest terminal logs from 2077 and 2078, which make a good next stop.
How to get there
From the Crashed Scout Bus, head east toward the Eastern Virgin; the booth stands beside the old road.
Notable loot
- Park Ranger Hat (inside the booth)
Tips
- Grab the Park Ranger Hat; Peregrine has a second one if you want a spare.
- Combine this stop with the Crashed Scout Bus for Roadside Attraction.
