Atomic Wrangler Casino

The Atomic Wrangler is the only working casino in Freeside, a bar, flophouse and brothel run by the twins James and Francine Garret. Before the war it was a Fremont Street nightclub that called itself the West's finest watering hole. Today it serves Freesiders, caravaneers and NCR visitors who cannot afford the Strip, and the Van Graffs from the Silver Rush and the Kings drink here too. Look for the neon cowboy riding an atom in the south half of Freeside.

The ground floor has a stage, a bar and a gambling room with blackjack, roulette and slots, although blackjack only pays 6:5 here. The kitchen and storeroom behind the bar hold liquor, fresh fruit and vegetables and well-stocked weapon and medicine lockers, behind a Very Hard lock that the Garrets often forget to relock. The second floor has a rentable room and the corner room, and the third floor, behind an Average lock, is where the twins and their guards sleep.

James Garret gives Wang Dang Atomic Tango, in which you recruit a ghoul cowboy, a smooth talker and a sexbot as new entertainers for the Wrangler. Francine gives Debt Collector, which ends with the corner room as your home. Talent Pool also sends you here to buy Hadrian's freedom from James. Comps are beer at 1,250 chips, whiskey and a dapper gambler hat at 2,500, and absinthe, Rum & Nuka and a dapper gambler suit at 3,750; at 5,000 you are banned.
