Next to Nipton Road Pit Stop
Southwest of the Nipton Road pit stop, in the southern part of Ivanpah Dry Lake, a pre-War transport plane lies buried in the sand. Only its left wing and tail fin still stick out of the ground, which makes the wreck easy to spot from far across the flat lake bed.
There is little to take: an ammunition box under the rear wing holds a few 5.56mm rounds. Radscorpions spawn in the sand around the wreck, so keep a weapon ready while you look around. The official game guide lists the wreck in its tour of the southern Ivanpah Dry Lake.
How to get there
From the Nipton Road pit stop, head southwest across the dry lake toward the tail fin.
