Deathclaw promontory
A clifftop on the Colorado's east bank, east of Lucky Jim Mine, crawling with dozens of deathclaws. Dead prospectors hold Remnants and T-51b power armor.

Next to Cliffside Prospector Camp
The deathclaw promontory is a rough, hilly shelf above the east bank of the Colorado River, directly east of Lucky Jim Mine and the Cliffside prospector camp. The only way in is a dirt path to the north. Around 36 deathclaws have been counted here, from babies and young ones to mothers and alpha males, and the pack grows with your level, with several alphas and mothers possible at level 30 and above.
This pack is far more united than the one at Quarry Junction. Most of the deathclaws stand clustered together and the whole group charges once it notices a threat, which also makes the cluster an ideal target for explosives. After the main pack falls, three more deathclaws spawn and walk toward that part of the promontory, so do not relax too early.
The reward is two dead prospectors in the middle of the plateau. One wears Remnants power armor without the helmet, the only suit available outside For Auld Lang Syne; the other wears T-51b power armor. A multiplas rifle and a tri-beam laser rifle lie beside the bodies, three deathclaw eggs rest against the cliff at the southern end, and the area has 11 broc flowers and eight xander roots.
How to get there
Cross the Colorado east of Lucky Jim Mine and look for the dirt path that climbs onto the promontory from the north.

Tips
- Bring explosives; the pack bunches up and charges together.
- A separate Remnants helmet lies in Silver Peak Mine, so you can finish the set without For Auld Lang Syne.
- Legion assassins or NCR hit squads that spawn here may fight the deathclaws for you.
