The Great Khan Encampment is a small camp on the ridge just west of Quarry Junction, between Goodsprings Cemetery and the quarry and southeast of the Makeshift Great Khan Camp. Two makeshift beds and a fire are about all there is, occupied by Melissa and two other Great Khans waiting on a chem shipment that never arrived. They are not raiders: Melissa stays peaceful even if the Khans dislike you, unless you attack first.
The real danger is getting there. The approaches along the north wall of Quarry Junction or the trail from near Vault 19 run past deathclaws, and the valley east of the cemetery is full of radscorpions. The safest route is to climb the ridge at the Makeshift Great Khan Camp and keep to the rock wall on your right until a path forks up to the camp, with a Stealth Boy if you have one. Melissa gives Don't Make a Beggar of Me, which sends you to Sloan and Primm to track down her missing drug chemicals, and she is one of the Khan advisors you can win over in Oh My Papa.
How to get there
Climb the ridge at the Makeshift Great Khan Camp and keep to the rock wall on your right until a path forks up to the camp; the routes along Quarry Junction's north wall are deathclaw country.
