The Makeshift Great Khan Camp is an abandoned campsite in the hills north-northeast of Goodsprings Cemetery, on the west side of Quarry Junction and on the way toward Bonnie Springs. The Great Khans who set it up are gone; all that is left is a campfire, a hollowed-out rock with random loot and some war totems up on the hillside. It has no quest pointing you toward it.
The danger here is wildlife, not Khans. Cazadores and young deathclaws roam close by, so this is no place for a low-level character to linger. Use the campfire to cook if the area is clear, grab whatever the hollowed-out rock holds, and move on. The ridge here is also the safest way up to the Great Khan Encampment, where Melissa and two living Khans wait.
How to get there
From Goodsprings Cemetery walk north-northeast into the hills toward Bonnie Springs; the camp sits on the west side of Quarry Junction.
Tips
- Do not treat this as a safe stop; cazadores and young deathclaws roam right around it.
- Check the hollowed-out rock for random loot, then climb the ridge to reach the Great Khan Encampment.
