The Tribal Village is a ruined camp in the western hills north of Goodsprings, between Spring Mt. Ranch State Park and the Makeshift Great Khan Camp. Tents stand in a half-circle against the eastern cliff around a usable campfire, surrounded by the burned bodies of the tribals who lived here. A band of Fiends high on Psycho massacred them, and the corpses of Fiends and Great Khans lie among the ruins.
Loot is modest: a hollowed-out rock just outside the village, fire axes on some of the Fiend corpses, and leftover Psycho and Jet around the campfire. On the hill just southeast of the village is Chance's grave, which holds the unique Chance's knife if you dig it up with a shovel. The real concern is the wildlife. This corner of the Mojave is cazador territory, and the fast, poisonous insects are more than a match for a low-level character. Bring antivenom or a shotgun, and do not linger in the open when you hear the buzzing.
How to get there
From Goodsprings Cemetery head northwest through the hills toward Spring Mt. Ranch State Park; the huts sit in a valley along the way.
Tips
- Cazadores roam this whole corner of the map; bring antivenom and a fast-firing weapon.
- No quest leads here, but bring a shovel: Chance's grave on the hill above holds Chance's knife.
