The Mesquite Mountains Camp Site lies due north of the Mojave Outpost and south of the Mesquite Mountains Crater. The upper site has two tents with two beds each, and a few abandoned vehicles sit to the east. When you arrive, giant radscorpions have taken over the main campsite, and smaller radscorpions of various sizes roam the hills around it. They respawn over time, so the camp never stays clear for long.
The loot is worth the fight if you are building Survival: a Wasteland Survival Guide lies in the south tent, and a star bottle cap sits on a metal box in the north tent. With a campfire, beds and prickly pear, barrel cactus and banana yucca growing nearby, the site can work as a simple base. During We Will All Go Together, Private Edwards may wander here if you tell him there are many places to go, and he will most likely be killed.
How to get there
From the Mojave Outpost, head due north into the foothills of the Mesquite Mountains.
Notable loot
- Wasteland Survival Guide (south tent)
- Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap (metal box in the north tent)
