The Nipton Road Reststop sits at the junction of Interstate 15 and Nevada State Route 164, south of Primm and the Nevada Highway Patrol Station, where the road branches off toward Nipton. It is made up of the Nipton Road general store, a destroyed house to the south and an inaccessible house to the north. Radscorpions of several sizes infest the area outside, and a large wrecked vehicle in front of the store holds two ammunition boxes.

The store itself has no enemies and holds the secret stash of Nipton's Mayor Steyn, several sacks and a locked gun cabinet, which his terminal in Nipton Hall mentions. On the counter you will find a star bottle cap among the regular caps and the second page of Mayor Steyn's journal, and a copy of Pugilism Illustrated sits on the shelf closest to the register. Ranger Jackson's quest Can You Find it in Your Heart? targets giant ants on the road east of here.

How to get there

From the Nevada Highway Patrol Station, follow Interstate 15 south to the junction with the road to Nipton.

  • Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap (counter behind the register)
