Part of New Vegas Strip
The Ultra-Luxe is the most refined casino on the Strip, run by the White Glove Society, a tribe of former cannibals who now hide that past behind masks, a strict dress code and perfect manners. It stands on the southeast corner of the middle section. There are no slot machines, only blackjack and roulette, plus the overpriced Top Shelf bar, an art gallery and the Gourmand, a meat restaurant run by the temperamental chef Philippe and famous for its brahmin Wellington.
Mortimer runs the reception desk and holds the only key to the penthouse elevator, where Heck Gunderson stays with hostile bodyguards. Beyond the public rooms are a bathhouse with a steam room, a members-only dining room watched by bouncers with dress canes, and the basement kitchens, where patrols roam and a locked freezer holds Ted Gunderson. Honorary membership from Marjorie, or a key and a White Glove mask as a disguise, lets you move through the private areas.
Beyond the Beef begins here: Heck Gunderson wants his missing son Ted found, while Mortimer has his own plans for the Society's next feast, and the endings range from Ted rescued to the whole Society wiped out. Walter Phebus's Pheeble Will and Caesar's Render Unto Caesar also bring you here. Comps are an atomic cocktail at 3,750 chips, a brahmin Wellington at 7,500 and the Bon Vivant suite key at 11,250, and you are banned at 15,000.
How to get there
Pass Gomorrah and the Lucky 38 into the Strip's middle section; the Ultra-Luxe is on the east side beside the monorail station.
