The Westside South Entrance is the second gate into Westside and sits directly north of the Monte Carlo Suites. Like the west gate, it is a makeshift wall of fence posts, concrete barriers, rusted-out cars and scrap metal, guarded by the Westside Militia. The Thorn's manhole and the Casa Madrid Apartments lie just outside this gate but still inside Westside's outer wall, so this is the marker to use when you want to visit the arena.
South of the gate, Westside's safety fades quickly. The Monte Carlo Suites are held by the Scorpions gang, who attack on sight, and further south the ruins belong to the Fiends. The South Cistern, where an NCR trooper and a military policeman pass the time, is a short walk east toward the Strip. Fast travel here, stock up in Westside, then head out in whichever direction your quest points.
How to get there
From the Monte Carlo Suites, walk directly north to the scrap-metal gate.
