Next to Path to the Courier's Mile
The Courier's Mile is the ruined, burning cityscape around the spot where the Ashton missile burst after you launched it to break the silo lockdown. Ulysses named it, and if you meet him again after the story he says the name is only his own and you are free to choose another. Both the Mile and the path leading in appear on your map as soon as the missile has launched.
You enter through a narrow gap between piled-up car wrecks. Irradiated marked men and irradiated deathclaws roam the crater and do not fight each other. Radiation in the center tops 25 rads per second and heals the marked men very quickly. Two warheads, one near the deathclaws and one inside the marked men camp, make it even worse if you detonate them, and most exposed food and drink is heavily irradiated.
The rewards match the danger. Blood-Nap, a unique Bowie knife, sticks out of a streetlamp by the entrance. Three high-tech gun cases hold top-tier weapons, the central building guarded by irradiated deathclaws has mini nukes, and ammo boxes are packed with special ammunition. Look for a Stealth Boy, a Nuka-Cola Quartz in the northern rubble, two weapon mods in a military shipping crate and random high-end armor in a metal box in the far north.
How to get there
After The Launch, go to the path to the Courier's Mile south of the Hopeville missile silo bunker exit and walk through the gap in the car wrecks.

Tips
- Bring Rad-X and RadAway; the center of the crater passes 25 rads per second.
